- Koe asks before taking fn. If another app may start on fn too (Wispr Flow, Superwhisper, or any app listening to the keyboard), Try it asks you: keep fn for Koe, or use Right ⌥. An app that shows up later is pointed out once, and Settings offers the same switch.
- In Try it, if your shortcut never reaches Koe, Koe says another app may be taking it first, and how to pick another key.
- Update to Koe in the menu checks again before installing: on a copy that can't update itself, it sends you to koe.fm instead of failing.
